Do Not Judge Others

We judge others to make ourselves feel better, and our judgement usually comes from a place of superiority.

“I can’t believe they spent that money on a Bentley,” said the Mercedes.

“I can’t believe they spent that money on a Mercedes,” said the Ford.

“I can’t believe they spent that money on a Ford,” said the bicycle.

“I can’t believe they spent that money on a bicycle,” said the man who walked.

We are quick to tell others what they should or should not do, but we, too, can be judged by the same standards in which we judge others. “For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” -Matthew 7:2. Instead of judging let us focus on the command God gave us. “My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.” -John 15:12. Trust me, it feels much better, too! My soul is cleansed when I fill it with love, not hate.
