Wow, what a treat! Setting the dessert up as a gelato bar creates such a fun and personalized experience. Adding a variety of toppings made the already tasty gelato even better. Whether topped on a cone or a bowl, this dessert spread is sure to be a hit with anyone who tries it!

Makes 12 cones

Preparation Time: 10 minutes to set everything up

Cost: $15

For the gelato:

*Use selection of gelato from the store (we use the Whole Foods brand in Pistachio, Dark Chocolate, Hazelnut and Strawberry)

For the cones:

*Buy your favorite ice cream cones from the store or a boutique ice cream shop (cones or waffle cups)

For the toppings:

*Sprinkles

*Toasted almonds

*Chocolate sauce

*Almond biscotti

*Strawberries/blueberries

For the bar:

*Put gelato selections in metal containers (metal keeps food cold, but any type of bowl will work except glass or plastic).

*Place metal containers in a cooler filled with dry ice.

*Arrange metal gelato containers inside cooler. (DO NOT cover the cooler. Contained dry ice gives off toxic gas).

*Use small ice cream scoop that sits in hot water to scoop.

*Place toppings in separate bowls beside the cooler.
