WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
In Genesis 22:8 we see Abraham explain to Isaac that God will provide for himself the lamb for a burnt offering. Flip to the New Testament in John 1:29 and we read, “The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!’” The verse in John shows us the fulfillment of the promise in Genesis.
