WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
When Noah exited the ark, he built an altar to God and sacrificed burnt offerings. God said, “…Never again will I curse the ground because of humans…and never again will I destroy all living creatures… As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease.” (Genesis 8:21-22 NIV). What a fabulous promise! Until Revelation 21:1 becomes reality when God says He will establish a “new heaven and new earth” we can be confident we will enjoy life on earth through our continual witness of the changing seasons, beautiful harvests, cozy winters, and the warmth and new life of each spring.
