WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
I learned one righteous soul can make a difference. Because Noah found favor with God, God did not wipe out all of mankind. He would save Noah and his family, thus continuing humanity. “But Noah found favor in the eyes of the Lord.” (Genesis 6:8 ESV).
Is God calling you to do something bold? Is He calling you to speak out? Does this scare you? When we earnestly seek God’s will, as opposed to our will, He will give us the tools needed to see the task through. I think we sometimes do not step out in faith for fear of failure. But the outcome is not ours to fret over. Our job is obedience to Him. When we hear His call, the only thing we must do is follow His lead. And when we do? Stand back! Because we are about to be blown away with what God can accomplish through a heart that is wholly His.
