WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
Mount Moriah is where God sent Abraham to sacrifice his only son. Mount Moriah is where the Jewish temple would be built. The Jewish temple was where sacrifices occurred for sin committed. The temple is where Jesus’ was judged and convicted as our ultimate sacrifice. Moriah means “The Lord will provide.” (Genesis 22: 8, 14). Even 2,000 years before Christ, it was foreshadowed that this place would be where God provided His ultimate sacrifice in Jesus. The Lord will provide. The Lord did provide!
