WHAT I LEARNED WHEN I READ THE BIBLE
It is through the covenant God established with Abraham in Genesis 15 that we see the spilling of blood. It is this sacrifice that sealed the promise God made with Abraham, and it signals why Jesus had to die, His blood flowing out, to secure our salvation. A blood sacrifice had to be given. It is through the blood of Jesus, the sacrificial Lamb (John 1:29) that we are promised salvation for all who call on His name. (Acts 2:21).
